There’s plenty of young female talent in the region determined to make an impact. Mwaah’s Sally Smith went in search of our local leading lights and was inspired by what she discovered. Making Her Mind Up Stephanie Hemmings is a make-up artist from Much Hadham with an already impressive CV. She is only 20 years old yet has been involved with photo shoots for Lipsy, Tescos Opticians and Wella Studios to name a few. One of her favourite jobs was doing a shoot for Vidal Sassoon. As far as inspirational ladies go, Harlow’s Jennie Crossling could have written the job spec. At the age of just 27, and having overcome a rough, tough childhood, her selfless hands-on dedication to changing the lives of young people earned her the accolade of The Prince’s Trust Young Ambassador of the Year.
